Teen Mom FB 2015

Our next book entitled, I Am Still Somebody: Encouraging, Empowering & Equipping Teen Mothers, will be published in 2016. There will also be a workbook and prayer book companions. In anticipation of this release, we are doing our first Teen Mother program, where 5 teen moms will be chosen to review all three books. There is no fee to apply or participate in this program.

This program will take approximately 8 weeks to complete. We will have weekly conference calls where we will discuss the weekly reading assignment and also get feedback from the young ladies on the content of the materials. Their reviews will also be featured on the back of the book. There will be a confidentiality agreement that must be signed by the participant and their parent/guardian if under the age of 18 before they can participate in the program.

Upon completion of the program, the young ladies will receive a certificate along with a gift bag of goodies. They will also receive autographed copies of all books. Please see timeline below for program deadlines.

Applications will be released on April 30, 2015
Deadline for applying is August 28, 2015
Notifications will be send out by September 1, 2015.
Program will start the week of September 7, 2015

Teen Mom Sponsorship FB 2015

Our goal is to raise $1,500.00 to help offset the expenses. Your sponsorship will ensure that these young ladies are not only encouraged to overcome the statistics but equipped with the tools to do so. Any donation of $25 or more will include a free autographed copy of the book and a notation in the book acknowledgements.

Our anticipated expenses are as follows but not limited too:

  • Certificate of completion
  • Mailing print materials to the teen moms
  • Autographed copies of each book
  • Gift bag
  • Journal
  • T-Shirt
  • Faith Confession Cards
  • Gift for their child/children
  • Monthly Goals & Accountability Workbook
  • Other gift items
It is my ultimate prayer that my testimony of overcoming the statics and obstacles of a teen mother will help another young girl find her way. Any donation amount will be accepted and greatly appreciated. The deadline for donations is October 31, 2015. For more information please email us atgwwministry@gmail.com. Thank you in advance for your support and your prayers!

Jeremiah 32:39 (NLT)
And I will give them one heart and one purpose: to worship me forever, for their own good and for the good of all their descendants.

In a world where self-gratification is sought out more than anything. In a world where riches are desired more than anything. In a world where we have left our first love. In a world of busyness and everything fast paced and instant. We have forgotten to teach our girls how to worship God. Instead they worship music artists and fashion designers and those who they deem great in their little eyes. We take them to church but that is about all that we do. We have forgotten to instruct them on finding their purpose.

We have to refocus our girls back to the true and living God. In their worshiping God they will know their purpose. In their worshiping God they will know their importance. In their worshiping God they will get that feeling of fulfillment that can come from no other place. In their worshiping God they will get clarity on the issues of life. In their worshiping God it will bring great delight to Him. It’s not too late for them to turn around. All hope is not gone. We must not give up on them. They are the ones that will lead the generation of girls behind them. They must know the truth so that they can pass it on. They shall know their purpose!
Father, we declare that every girl shall know their God given purpose. They shall understand the importance of carrying out their purpose. They shall find delight in completing their purpose for you. Father, give them clarity on what you have created them to do. Help us to lead and guide them in the right way. Help us to be godly examples for them. Help us to teach them how to worship in spirit and in truth. Forgive us where we have fallen in this area and help us to make a turn around for the benefit of our girls. We believe and know that there is still time to make a change. All hope is not lost as long as they still have breath in their bodies. Show us all the way Lord. We need your Holy Spirit to help us in all that we do. It is our hearts desire to get back on track for your glory. They shall have one heart and one purpose: to worship you forever, for their own good and for the good of all their descendants. In Jesus name, amen!
I am a girl of purpose
I shall know God’s plan for my life (Jeremiah 29:11, Galatians 6:4)
I  shall not waste my resources (Colossians 3:23)
I am destined for success (John 14:12, Philippians 1:6)
I am a girl of purpose

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of my children.  I am humbled that You thought me worthy of watching over someone who is so precious to You.  Equip me with all the wisdom, strength, and insight that I need to complete my assignment in a way that will be pleasing to You.  Show me the way that I would take even as I instruct those ones whom You have entrusted to my care.

As I commit them into Your care, I trust You to keep them safe in all of their ways.  Grant me an increased sense of discernment to recognize the work of the enemy in my children’s lives.  Give me the strength to battle against the forces that will seek to pull their heart away from You, to break their spirit and bend their will.
When I grow weary, strengthen my weary arms and renew my faith in Your ability to keep us all.  By the authority that You have given me over the lives of my children, through Christ, labor the plans of the enemy and his agenda for destroying the purposes of God in my children.  Guide my prayer life to strategically call forth the destiny of these little ones.  Help me to secure the inheritance that You have reserved for them.
But most of all, Lord, in those times when the going gets tough, remind me first that children are only part of my reward for answering Your call.  Reaffirm my worth when the world is telling me that I have no value, and let me find my validation and all that is truly worthwhile in You.  In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Luke 24:45 (NIV)
Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.

Father God, You are the source of my life. You are the strength that I long for.  Holy Spirit, I open myself to love. I open myself to joy. I open myself to courage. I open myself to receive Your guidance and wisdom in this moment. I open myself to all that life has to offer.  I open myself to the richness and full list of relationships.  I open myself to service. I open myself as a humble servant to Your way. I open myself and allow the Holy Spirit to move and guide my every step today.  I open myself to listen and hear that still small voice within me.  I open myself to know that I am safe, sane and secure. I open myself to the abundant riches of this life. I thank You, God, for opening me so that I may receive all that is Yours. God, I thank You and I glorify You for everything that I am. I give You praises for the life that has been so graciously handed to me. I honor and cherish my relationship with You, Holy Spirit.  I surrender, release and I let go and I let it be so. Amen.

Proverbs 2:2-5 (NLT)

2 Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding.  3 Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding.  4 Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. 5 Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God.

Father your word says that you give wisdom to those who ask. I need more wisdom in my life to make better choices. I need more understanding. I need more insight. I need more knowledge. I need to know what it is to really fear you. I need more of you to be a better person. My heart cries out just to be closer to you. Help me to be a good mother for my child. Help me to learn how to come to you with my problems and listen for your answers. Father, I rather have you than anything this world can offer me. In the most wonderful name of Jesus, amen!

Meditation Verse:

1 Corinthians 10:13 (NLT)

“The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.”

Father, I come to you confessing my sins before you. I need you to give me the strength to resist the temptations of this world. I want to stay holy and pure for you so that your Holy Spirit can dwell on the inside of me. I believe that I am still somebody in your eye sight.  In Jesus name, Amen
